Jubilee Life Celebrates Parents of Persons with Disabilities
A campaign to celebrate strength, resilience and unwavering support for every success story
Jubilee Life Insurance, the country’s top life insurance company in the private sector, gathered people with disabilities (PWDs), their families, community partners, and other stakeholders from ConnectHear and NOWPDP to celebrate the unsung heroes under the umbrella of its special initiative Lights. Camera. Inclusion. The program aimed to celebrate parents and caregivers who have consistently supported and overcome the challenges of life to reach personal and professional goals.
The event was conducted in association with Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) and Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP) to celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day beyond the usual connotation. Jubilee Life facilitated an inclusive movie experience to help families bond, connect, share and feel seen, valued and celebrated.

Speaking about this exceptional proposition, Javed Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, Jubilee Life Insurance said, “Behind every person who overcomes barriers and reaches their potential is often a parent or caregiver whose love, resilience and determination has never wavered. This initiative is all about celebrating such individuals whose contributions are rarely in the focus but have an impact which we cannot even imagine. At Jubilee Life, inclusion is not only about creating opportunities, it is about acknowledging the people and systems that make those opportunities possible.
Farukh Iftekhar, Group Head HRMD Jubilee Life Insurance said, “The work of persons with disabilities is being recognised and celebrated more and more, but so much work also happens behind the scenes which is often a journey of perseverance, advocacy, sacrifice and unconditional love on the part of many families. ‘Lights, Camera, Inclusion sought’ to recognise that.”
The initiative is part of Jubilee Life’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategy and a contribution towards the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals. Jubilee Life continues to promote opportunities for persons with disabilities and their families to thrive, through continued partnerships with organisations that are promoting inclusion and accessibility.
