    BISP Raised to Rs. 14,500 payment for Benazir Kafalat Program in Live e-Court in The payment of Benazir Kafalat Program increased by Rs. 1,000 after a major announcement in a live e-court session held at the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Headquarters in Islamabad. The session was chaired by Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of BISP who addressed the beneficiaries directly and provided important updates related to financial assistance, digital wallets and complaint mechanisms.

    During the implementation of the inaugural address formally similar to the increased amount of the quarterly instalment under the stated Benazir Kafalat Program from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500. The step is to help more deserving women from across the country in times of growing economic problems, giving them an added financial boost.

    Live E-court Session at BISP Headquarters

    The live e-court was organized to ensure a better level of transparency, accountability and direct communication between BISP leadership and beneficiaries. Senator Rubina Khalid stressed that the government is firm in its commitment to the rights of deserving families.

    She said categorically that the Benazir Kafalat Program payment was done as part of continued work to strengthen social protection to reduce financial hardship among lower-income households. The extra sum of Rs,1,000 per quarter is to be expected to provide a certain kind of relief to the hard-pressed families with their daily expenses from day to day.

    The session also discussed some operational issues such as digital payments, SIM registration and grievance redressal mechanism.

    Increase in Benazir Nashonuma and Scholarship for Education

    In addition to the confirmation of the increased payment in Benazir Kafalat Program, Senator Rubina Khalid also confirmed the increased amount of stipends under the Benazir Nashonuma Program and the Benazir Educational Scholarship.

    Both the programs will now provide an extra Rs. 500 to the beneficiaries. The increase is specific in order to support:

    During her address, the Senator Rubina Khalid asked women beneficiaries to be strong and fearless. She encouraged them to raise their voice for their rights and stand firm in seeking the support that was guaranteed them under the program.

    Referring to the legacy left behind by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto; she advised the deserving women to exhibit courage and determination. She also entreated them to hold special prayers for eternal peace of Benazir Bhutto during the holy month of Ramadan.

    She underscored strongly that there will be no compromise on the rights of deserving families which reinforces the message that the government are committed to protecting vulnerable communities.

    Complaint Mechanism /Helpline Information

    As the payment of Benazir Kafalat Program increased, officials also asked beneficiaries for official complaint channels available to them.

    In case of any problems related to payments, digital wallets or eligibility beneficiaries can:
