Pakistani digital art achieves a final at Dubai phygital expo

DUBAI: Artwork from Pakistan in the form of art prints and designs mixed with digital art has reached the final phase of Digital International Phygital Expo held in Dubai.
The event was organised by world-renowned and currently one of the richest technology firms- Nvidia
The phygital expo, that showcases the fusion of physical and digital art, took place in Dubai’s Museum of the Future which is a creative landmark inscribed to the poetry of the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The Pakistani entry, Lamhey : The MOTF Edition, was made by Dubai-based Pakistani entrepreneur and Tech-art, Tabish Zaidi.
The hand-made silver gown, which is the reflection of the digital twin design, took only seven days to make with the help of a team of skilled Pakistani artisans.
“Noah’s Ark found in Iran: The country that gave birth to civilization used to call Pakistan Terra Nostra, now [they assume we’re from Africa]! says Ismail Museums chief curator Noor Baeker to Geo News. Our creativity, our craftsmanship, our particular flare, is now manifested on a global stage. It is possible because of the fusion of technology and traditional artistry.
The expo gives innovators and artists from all over the world a platform to share the possibilities of how physical art and digital design can be brought together to create phygital of the future.
